Theft from a vehicle

Dear Resident

We have received two reports of theft from cars in Nassington.

One in St Marys close & one in station road.

I've leafleted the neighous for each location appealing for Ring door bell footage etc.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
